Surrender

I lay my body, spirit, soul
At your feet, oh Lord.
I surrender now in full
At your feet, my God.

I give my hopes and my desires
I give each up, for you
To burn them in your holy fires
Or resurrect them if you want to.

But here and now I'm laying down
Upon your cold, stone table
Where you will circumcise my heart,
Transform me, for you're able.

And I will wait and rest in you,
I'll wait till you release me.
For you are love, you'll see me through,
I know this certainly.
